Terms of service

1. The agreement

These terms are between you, the merchant who installs the app, and Codofaz. By installing Codofaz Shipping Bar you accept them. If you do not, uninstall the app and the agreement ends.

2. What we provide

A Shopify app that displays a free shipping progress bar on your storefront, together with an admin interface for configuring it. We provide it as it is described on this website and in the Shopify App Store listing.

3. Your account

Access is tied to your Shopify store. You are responsible for who you give access to your Shopify admin, and for the content you put in your bars — the messages you write, the links you point at, and the offers you make.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app to display misleading, unlawful or deceptive offers;
• attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service;
• resell or rebrand the app as your own;
• use it in a way that breaks Shopify's own terms.

5. Plans and payment

The free plan costs nothing and does not expire. Paid plans are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice; the prices shown on our pricing page are exclusive of any tax Shopify adds for your region.

Charges are recurring until you cancel. Cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; your store then returns to the free plan at the end of the paid period. Because Shopify handles the money, refunds follow Shopify's refund process, and we will support any reasonable request you make there.

6. Changes to the app

We improve the app continuously, and features may change. If we have to remove something you depend on, or change what a plan includes, we will tell you inside the app before it happens.

7. Availability

We work to keep the admin available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Your storefront is deliberately not dependent on us: because the bar's settings are stored in your own store and read from the page, your bar keeps working even if our admin is down.

8. Ending the agreement

You may uninstall at any time, which ends the agreement. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 4, or where required by law or by Shopify — in which case we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

9. Liability

The app is provided without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or lost profits. Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Your data

How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country], and disputes are subject to the courts of [city, country]. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
